Summary

Where to eat and what to do in Acadia National Park and the surrounding area from a local – less time guessing and more time enjoying the island.

This is my fourth summer on Mount Desert Island, and by now I’ve learned two things: Acadia National Park never gets old, and there’s always another place worth eating. From early-morning bakeries to post-flight lobster rolls and tasty cocktails during sunset, I love exploring new corners of the island and trying new food so you don’t have to.

This guide breaks down where to eat and what to do in Acadia National Park and the surrounding area so you can spend less time guessing and more time enjoying the island.
